I have been working as agent with m/s national insurance company ltd, Bellary since 1990 with license no.601221 and regularly it has been renewed up to 02-08-2011.for renewal I have paid the renewal fee at NICL Bellary vide receipt no.603704 /81/11/0000000689 dated 31-05-2011 for rs 250 and receipt no 603704 /81/11/0000001624 dated 08-08-2011 for rs 750 and submitted renewal application along with all papers required to NICL Bellary for renewal. Subsequently ,I was told that ,since I had two separate licenses for life and general insurances NICL has informed me to cancel the agency license issued on later date i.e.HDFC LIFE LICENSE so that NICL (old) license can be renewed .
Accordingly I have submitted the letter to HDFC LIFE LTD Bellary for cancellation of their agency license. In spite of my several repeated remainders till date in person and written representations given to them on 20-09-2011 &29-02-2012 which were duly acknowledged by them they have not taken any action. I have already sent you the letter copies along with other relevant papers for cancellation of my HDFC life license by registered post on 06-07-2012.
Due to non renewal NICL agency license I am not getting agency commission since august 2011 from the NICL.
I was told that, as per the IRDA guidelines if my NICL license is not renewed on or before 02-08-2012 the license will be lapsed. Consequent of this I will be losing my hard earned commission accumulated in my account.
Therefore I request your good selves, to cancel the license no.HDF3206971; so that my NICL license can be renewed without any break and take action against HDFC LIFE for negligence.
