I had applied for SBI home loan pre approval in April 2011 in IIT Bombay branch. Loan is pre approved on 20/5/2011. But bank did not thought to inform me by any means. Letter/e mail/phone etc. I came to know after Rs. 7000/- as processing fees were deducted from my account on 02/08/2011. Immediately I had contacted branch, I surprised with listening answer that your 2months time limit is expired . Over and above I have received email from bank on 23 rd September 11 regarding approval. I can Provide details of email from bank, if required. now I hv to pay around 10 lakh extra just because of SBI official nigligance.

-Loss of Rs 7000 with interest -Loss of 10 lakh because of inflation while purchasing flat
