Few months back, I had changed my number from basic 50ps/min plan to 1ps/sec plan with a recharge in Airtel Showroom @ Cuddalore. I was told that the plan will remain same till the validity of my sim card.
I had done 225 Booster three months ago,i.e 28th August 2011. The Booster validity got expired on 28th November 2011. Yesterday I got a message stating the expiry of my 225 Booster. Today by 1.58 PM I had recieved a Message from AT-Alerts stating “The validity of your traiff plan expired. Your new call charges are 1.2ps/sec for all airtel & other mobiles & 1.5ps/sec for landline”. But to my utter disappointment now only I found that I had been charged 1Rs/min for all my local calls , My balance had went down from Rs.55 to Rs.16 because of unclear service.
I was trying to register my complaint through a call through 198 but was unable to reach it. So called customer care support by 6.50 PM today, but even that support staff was not able to give me proper reason. Some how he registered it as a request and not as a complaint. Request reference number is CWRCH31129288556.
I need a clear explanation for “Why I had been charged 1Rs/min for my call, when my original plan was 50ps/min and converted plan is 1ps/sec, and their revised plan is 1.2ps/sec?”. And, need my balance of Rs.39 credited back.
For all money is not concern. But want know the reason for such unreasonable act. As a customer I need explanation & solution.
