My Scorpio Vechile purchased on 26/03/2009 Reg. No. MH-43-X-1515 got submergeed in monsoon water on 31st August 2010 whereupon we called the Insurance Company and a surveyor named Mr. Prashant had assured us to get the claim as the water had entered the Engine and the Engine had to be dismantled and repaired which comes under the major repairs as per the contract but now i.e on 6th Octtober 2010 the SD of the company states that they cannot pass the claim since the monsoon flooding was not affected the entire Mumbai execpt the low lying area of L.Parel, Sewri, Reay Road. So they say cannot approve our claim proposal after 40 days of the car standing in the Garage so we would like to lodge a complaint for misleading and manipulation of the Terms & Conditions of the Insurance Contract.
