Sir , I have repeateldy asked and also written to CESC about giving details of Bill send for Septe 2009 of Rs.14000(aprox). on 23/10/2009 with Docket No. 231009/1001026101/231009 & later on 14/11/ 2009 Docket Number : LT/10/21660.

On first letter, being called I was informed that the bill was for last 2 years and to be paid becuase our meter was not working properly which CESC came to know later after 2 years. For paying in installment they can arrange for 20 installments and can give 1000 deduction on total.

In the 2nd letter , I asked him to kindly furnish detials based on which he calcuated the bill and our fault if meter was wrong when we paid bill for last 2 years. Also to send me current month bill separtely and disputed bill seperately. To this we are called by K. Chakraborty Dy. Manager, South West P-18 Taratolla Road ,Kolkata-700 088 , on 17 November 2009 at 7:15 pm (aprox) to whom the matter was known. He told that in case we need to ask for details we will not get rebate and installments.

I do beleive and amd sure that there is something wrong in billing, but aslo unware what to do. What If i do put on complaining and asking for detials and do not pay bill ? They can cut our power supply and we will then be staying in darkeness or is it possible that they will/can send me seprate bill for current month and keep disputed bill aside till the matter is solved?
