My Number is 9970380518 And I was having Airtel friends scheme with 40 paise per minute calling rate.
I have made a top up recharge on 17-April-2010 of Rs 75 (which I use to do regularly of same amount since more than 1 year) and I got Rs. 68 as talktime with all my old “Airtel friends” Scheme lost and call rates are been converted to per second billing. Also i even didn’t got any sms or call from Airtel services that the scheme has been changed from 17th April 2010 and my last top up recharge was on 12th April 2010 of amount 75 in which there was no changes in my earlier schemes .When I launched complaint on 17th April 2010 to Airtel that my old scheme has been changed , I got response as it is technical problem and will be reverted with in 48 hrs. After 48 hrs when launched another complain, the supervisor told me that you will be refunded with the recharge money and my old scheme within 48 hrs, but till 21st April 2010 I didn’t got any response and scheme services were not reverted back. Then I Again called the customer care for the same but now they are saying that it is my mistake and I should have consulted with customer care service before making the recharge. They are no refusing to revert back to my original scheme.
I have been doing this recharge since more than 1 year, If a scheme is changed shouldn’t I be intimated about it by Airtel?
I am extremely unhappy with Airtel Customer Service as every time I give a call, I get different vague responses and they keep on confusing consumers.
