I purchased 1 litre mineral water (Bagpiper brand) with MRP Rs 20/-. At time of checkout, I was charged Rs 46/- for the same which comprised of Rs 40 for water, Service charge Rs4/- and service tax Rs 2/-. Inspite of my request to charge me MRP and reference to news article on Consumer case of a person charged Rs 150 for red bull drink in Chennai airport was fined Rs 50 lakh, my request was ignored.

I want an exemplary financial punishment against them so that no retailer charges consumer more than MRP of the product.
