We have been cheated by ticketgenie. We had booked 28 tickets for RCB vs KKR match on apr 10th at b’lore, and 25 tickets for RCB vs MI match on apr 17th at b’lore. But none of the tickets came as they claim it is overbooked.

We are planning to give police complaint, go to consumer forum, and put in news papers. We have been cheated twice, so we have enough news & documents for the newspapers, police & consumer forum.. Our case:

1) We have all the transaction bills and IDs for our transaction
2) I have the bank statement with shows the amount debited
3) We have their email which says they are not able to give tickets (KKR email exists. MI email hasnt come yet)
4) In their mail they have mentioned wrong refund amount. They have omitted the courier charges for every transaction, which is rs.10 per ticket (comes to over 500rs totally). This is cheating too, because if i did not notice it then i would have lost that amount
5) The ticketgenie office near trident hyundai is always closed & phonecall is not picked as well..
6) ticketgenie.com has put a “ticketgenie guarantee” in their page, which says that once booked, tickets will surely come. And they have breached that code by cheating hundreds of people.. The link is: http://www.ticketgenie.com/guarantee

8) Using the RTI act, we can get the information regarding when exactly the seats got filled, and did they sell any tickets after that date, and much more such info..
9) they have to provide compensation for us because we had to cancel train tickets (thus lose money), undergo pain & disappointment because of no fault of our own, lost bank interest on all the money they kept with them for over 40 days (i booked on march 5th), wasted time in the whole process, we cancelled our other plans just to attend the match on those days, and many more such reasons.. Each of these reasons has the potential to fetch thousands of dollars if the case was put in USA (Law is the biggest profession in USA)
10) Why did they delay informing about overbooking? they are informing just few hours before the match.. dont tell they dint know about overbooking many weeks ago..
11) We got overbooked for 2 matches!.. How can they overbook twice?! It means they are completely aware that they are overbooking.
