Chevrolet Beat – Dealer Poor Service – Review

Hi, I own a Chevrolet beat. Number HR31H0759 This email is regarding the severe problem I am facing with my Beat car and the quality of service offered by you dealer Triumph Motors, Peeragarhi, Delhi. I Would like to brief you how badly your dealer handles customers: • On 19th June 2014, suddenly my car problem started. Engine oil wiped out completely and don’t know where it gone. No leakage was found by me. Red indicator light up in the dash board. • On 20th June 2014, I called you service dealer Triumph Motors, Peeragarhi, Delhi for check up and service. They charged me Rs.150 for Pick and drop. They picked the vehicle around 2.00 PM on 20th June 2014 and took it to their service centre which is 1 Km from my office. • Whole day passed and I didn’t received any call from them. I was unaware where my vehicle is. • So in evening I called up the guy who picked my car. He said me to call at service centre. I called up but they were not able to find my vehicle and responded me to call in morning. • This is the level of service wherein your dealer never responds to customer and surprisingly not even able to find the vehicle coming in the workshop. • Anyhow next day I have to go to service centre myself whereas I have paid Rs.150 already for pick and drop. There also for about one hour no one responded. • Suddenly one service advisor came and started giving me reasons for this service quality. Now the best part which is about the problem of car • They saying that Oil sump below the car is damaged and Oil stopped going to engine so they have to replace it and vehicle will be fine. • They said about Rs.7000 approx. for this cost. • I agreed and they changed it. But the problem remains as it is. • Now they saying Turbo in the engine is to replaced and will cost around 15,000. Do I look like a fool that whatever Chevrolet dealer will say, I will agree. Engine is under warranty of about 1,00,000kms whereas car had run only 54,000kms. This is the quality if cars Chevrolet is making. The incidence shows the worst quality of service offered by Chevrolet. Best part is they never called me. Every time I have to call and ask. Note that this problem is inside the engine and hence as per warranty clause is to be resolved free of cost by Chevrolet. I am not sure this email will resolve my problem or not but this is sure that if it’s not I will be ready with the notice from the Consumer court which will cost me Rs.150 only to take Chevrolet to the courts.
