This refers to the bottled drink ‘Minute Maid’ Pulpy Orange, a product of Coca Cola India. I bought 2 bottles of 400 ml bottle of ‘Minute Maid’, Pulpy Orange on 23rd June, 2014 from the outlet Food Bazaar located at K-Star Mall in Chembur, Mumbai on 23rd June, 2014. The MRP Printed on the bottle is Rs.30.00. The outlet charged me Rs.60.00 for 2 bottles. Subsequently, I bought a similar 400 ml bottle of ‘Minute Maid’ Pulpy Orange on 24th June, 2014 from the outlet Subway located at Phoenix Mall, Kurla (W), Mumbai. The MRP Printed on the bottle is Rs.50.00. The outlet charged me Rs.50.00 for the same. It is absolutely clear that two different MRPs are being charged for the same product at 2 different outlets in the same city of Mumbai, which is an unfair trade practice.
An unconditional apolgy letter from Coca Cola India admitting to unfair Trade Practice. The practice of printing 2 different MRPs for the same product is stopped immediately. Incidental compensation.
