My mobile number (9818487676) has been on the Do Not Disturb Registry since it was started by TRAI.

In spite of making several complaints to my mobile operator Airtel, i am continuing to receive promotional SMS messages on my mobile number 9818487676. These messages do not contain any number in the ‘From’ field – instead, it says “From: UNICEL” or “From: BIRLSUN” or “From: SITRAMBHRTI”. I have complained to Airtel regarding this issue many times (I have customer reference numbers if required) & I have been assured time & again that this problem will not continue, but i am continuing to receive such SMS messages. What is the point of being registered on the DND registry if a person is continuously disturbed? Please help!!
