Credit Card Tele Calling & Gifts – Fraud Advisory – Must Read

Dear Sir, Kindly find read complain and sequences as below. 1) On 11th July’14, I got a call on my mobile No. 8008579XX2 2) The person informed that he is calling from Standard Charted bank and he told that being a valuable customer of bank, he is offering free gifts. 3) Then, he asked me to provide me card number for verification which I provided ignorantly. 4) After that he informed that somebody else will call for address confirmation. Within half an hour, I received called from second person who asked me to provide my address. 5) Second person informed me that credit card account has been charged with Rs.35000/- with reference my call with first person. 6) By listening that, I was shocked as first person told that the gifts are free of cost. 7) Immediately, I instructed second person, not to send any gift as I was not interested for any gift with payment of Rs.35000/- 8) Second person told that he can hold gift dispatch but I need to talk with third person (Mr.Ashok Modi and Mr.Rahul). 9) When I called on Mobile No. +91 9210077705 (Mr.Ahsok Modi). Ashok Modi told me that He can reduce amount to Rs.21998/- from Rs.35000/- (I was unable to understand what is going on).

Also, Ashok Modi told that if you want total refund then first accept gifts and return to us. So, we can refund your money. 11) Meanwhile, I received SMS from Standard Charted bank that they have billed my account with Rs.21998/- 12) Immediately, I realized that I was trapped in some fraud. I called to Credit card customer care to block the Credit Card and also informed that they don’t proceed with payment to Dashmesh Enterprise of Rs.21998/- 13) The customer care person informed that they blocked Credit card. But, He can take complain on stop transaction with Dashmesh Enterprise once it will be viewable in my credit card outstanding as unbilled amount. 14) On 12th July’14, I visited Standard Charted Bank Branch SomajiGuda. I handed over my written complain to Bank Manager on above. Complain No. 20140712567140 Dt.12-07.2014 time: 13:18:02 (Acknowledgement copy in attachment) 15) On 14th July’14, I sent email to Standard Charted Bank customer care Email ID: card.services@sc.com (Copying to Dashmesh Enterprise – Email ID: info.ecomsales@gmail.com) 16) On 15th July’14, as Dashmesh received my email complain to bank on 14th July, Rahul (He is boss of Ashok Modi) called me and he threaten me to take back complain. 17) When, I put up my strong argument, he told that he is not in mood to reverse transaction if I don’t take back my complain. By looking to above sequences, I decided to file a fraud complain against Dhashmesh Enterprise, New Delhi and their concern persons Mr.Rahul and Ashok Modi.
