Sir, I have been severely harassed by the TATA Docomo Tele Services, Bhubaneswar since the last 6 months in the following ways. 1. I had taken a Tata Docomo post-paid phone bearing Number 0674-6556444 on 09/10/2013. 2. On February 23, 2014 I applied for a migration from Post-paid to prepaid by clearing all dues & submitting the migration form along with the other required documents in the Saheed Nagar,Janpath Customer Care Centre. I was assured by the authority that the migration process will be done within 5 working days & thereafter I won’t have to pay any post-paid bill. 3. The company never confirmed me about the same even after one month though I kept on calling the customer care repeatedly to know the status. Rather they continued to send the post-paid bills like earlier without responding to my queries properly. So I decided not to pay the outstanding bills of Rs 1597/ till May 2014 which were actually not used by me. 4. The company officials then started threatening me over phone in very unprofessional ways & the Company’s advocate Mr Paresh Sahoo kept on sending legal notices in regular intervals without reverting back to my grievances. 5. On 11th Aug 2014, 2.32 pm I received a call from some Suresh Nagar (08287372392),New Delhi who claimed to represent the law department of Delhi High Court.He said a serious criminal case has been filed against me vide file No DLA40/14 in Delhi High Court.He advised me to contact a senior advocate of Delhi High Court by the name Mr R K Chouhan on 09990795861. 6. I called Mr Chouhan at 2.37 pm to know the matter in details & I was surprised to hear from him that a Non Bailable Arrest Warrant has been issued against me & the local police will reach me shortly to recover a fine amount of Rs50,000 & would forward me to the local court. But if I pay the outstanding bill amount of Rs 1597 within 30 minutes, then the case will be withdrawn by your company. 7. Then I went to the Nayapalli Police Station & explain the whole matter to the local police .It was discovered that no such communication was made from Delhi High Court against me & it was a complete farce. Rather the police advised me to take counter action against the company for using unlawful methods to recover money. 8. Since the billing amount was very small, I then decided to settle the same & get rid of the unprofessional team. So I deposited Rs 1597/ on 11th august 2014 vide Receipt Number 66615145 in Tata Docomo’s ID Market centre & thought the matter is finally over. 9. But to my surprise again I received a legal notice on 18th Aug 2014 from their Advocate Mr Paresh Sahoo to settle the amount within 7 days failing which further legal action will be taken against me. 10. That is not the end, I received another threatening call on 29th Aug 2014 at 11.43 am from a Delhi number I;e 07834844218 on the compamny’s behalf & the person claimed to represent Tees Hazari Court. Instead of listening to me he started abusing me in slang words.

Since I was driving & my mobile was in a driving mode, my wife also heard the entire conversation & is badly disturbed thereafter. 11. I have been raising this issue since the last 4 or 5 days through listen@tatadocomo.com, appellate.orissa@tatadocomo.com, 3030@tatatel.co.in . But my concerns are not addressed by them so far.They only confirmed of receiving the billing amount on 11th Aug 2014. This is a clear-cut case of customer harassment by taking the name of various constitutional bodies to recover money in an unlawful & illegal manner against a settled account. Now because of the company’s poor customer service & repeated harassments I am going through a lot of mental agony & psychological trauma. I therefore request you to ask the company to compensate me with Rs 1, 00,000 within 7 working days or I will be constrained to knock the door of Consumer Court & will publish your whole dramatic stories in the local dailies.
