Sir, I have recently purchased a tablet – Karbonn smart tab st 3- from India times shopping online by placing an order dated 24.04.2013 in no.3002249023, the product was to be delivered at no.247,9th cross street, M.K.B.nagar,Chennai-39. The product was delivered on 30.04.2013 from Softek Surya India private ltd,no.110,Sahyog,building, Nehru place, New delhi-1100019( Tel: 26216235/26292773)on behalf of India times shopping, but the product was not at all switching on even after mandatory charging , when this fact was informed to India times shopping both over phone( 09024888888) and mail ( customerservice@indiatimes.co.in){ my compliant dated 854848 dated 11.05.2013}, they advised me to take the product to karbonn service centre which I did by giving the product to “cell tech” at Shop No.8,first floor, Cisons complex, No.150,Montieth Road, Egmore, Chennai-600008 Ph.No.044-42638372/044-42638373.,( Given on 15.5.2013). but till now, there is no response from the said service centre , repeated calls to India times shopping customer care also have evoked very little response, as the product is not at all switching on and it looks like it is an used one, and India times shopping have not chosen to do quality control pre-delivery inspection, which is mandatory before shipping the product, and they have sold a substandard product with manufacturing defect, therefore as envisaged in their return policy, they are not providing me with a fresh piece for the defective one. the above act of India times shopping of selling substandard used product as a new one is nothing but cheating the consumer and amounts to unfair trade practice. Please take necessary action on this complaint and redress my grievance so that innocent customers like me will not be cheated again.

I have contacted india times shopping both over phone and e.mail several times but I was not given any proper solution, ( email and phone records are available) each time I call them they are trying to wash off their hands and passing on the buck giving me immense mental agony and being a professional myself I was left to ponder over this problem and not able to concentrate on my work giving me enough economic loss.
