Delhi University doesn’t give a damn about students career, life and marks. I got my result in Oct for BA final year, in it shows that i didn’t appear for one exam despite the fact that i appeared and i did well in that subject. I immediately reported this to the management with all the proofs they wanted including my attendance for that particular subject which i got from my examination centre. I submitted all the documents in Nov starting and they told me that my result will be out by the end of Dec. On first hand they already are so late in announcing the results and they asked me to wait for 2 more months just for this minor correction. I had no choice so i waited till 30 Dec, there was no update from them so i finally visited the examination and told them my issue, there were many students who had the same problem. The guy who attended me said he can’t do anything as nothing is been done on this matter by them and i am supposed to wait till 10 Jan 2015.
Okay!!!! I was frustrated and disappointed, i realized that the life of a student doesn’t really matters to them. I didn’t argue and just left but i took there working contact number. And yes it was working and someone did attend me when i called them on 12 Jan. Then that guy said there is no progress and i have to wait for 15 more days for my result to get rectified. I mean, WTF man are you just playing around doing nothing for more than 3 months. It’s just a minor error from your side and why should we pay for this fucking error. I just blasted on him and he just sounded like a poor pig crying out of pity, sir what can i do in this. You should contact the higher authorities. I don’t know what to do, still waiting for my result which was supposed to be out in Oct. Until and unless i get the graduation result i can’t do anything. Can’t apply for job, can’t go for higher studies.
I just want them to do something rather than just sit idle and drink coffee/tea and play with students and of course want my result to be rectified as soon as possible.
