DISCONNECTION OF IDEA MOBILE CELLULAR CONNECTION 9855779537

STATEMENT OF FACTS
RELATING TO GRIEVANCE OR APPEAL

Most respectfully, I beg to say that I had been using mobile connection 9855779537. On 28 Feb 2009, I received an SMS, asking me to “visit nearest Idea showroom along with photo, POC and POI to complete document formality (for the above mentioned mobile connection)”. I submitted the said documents through local idea mobile dealer. Later on, there were again a number of telephone calls & exchange of SMSs and in response, I submitted the documents thrice.

Ultimately, there was favourable response from IDEA on 14 May 2009 giving a sigh of relief to me stating From 9814012347 (SMS) “Your concern regarding your account has been resolved. Thank you for being a valued member of the Idea family – 9814012347 05:09:26 date 14 May 2009”

In my turn, I thanked the Idea stating To 9814012347 from 9855779537 “Thanks sir. This is 3rd time I have to submit the documents. After all, end is well” 10:44:27 dated 14 May 2009

To my surprise I got an SMS dated 27 May 2009 stating “Ur VG & IC calls will be debarred today as documents are not submitted by you. Kindly submit the valid documents at the earliest to avail uninterrupted.” Ultimately services to this mobile were withdrawn on the following day on 28 May 2009.

I took the matter up with Mr Rajneesh Rana, Customer Services, Idea Punjab by email dated 28 May 2009 requesting him to resolve the issue. I committed to supply the documents to him by fax because I had no faith in Local Idea showroom, who did not preserve the documents already submitted to them thrice. Mr Rana did not want to mediate but directed me to “visit the Idea show room with valid proof of identity, proof of residence”.

Then the matter was brought to the notice of the Nodal Officer by email dated 2 June 2009. He intended to have my complete address so that he could arrange deputation of a rep for collection of requisite documents. I provided the same by return email on 5 Jun 2009. When no rep turned up to collect the documents, I reminded him on 8 June 2009 but no response till date from the Nodal Officer.

Then I took the matter up with the Idea Appellate Authority Mohali on 12 June 2009. Inspite of three reminders, I have not been intimated the nature of the action taken by them.

From the foregoing, you will realize that I have been harassed without my fault. I am adamant to continue to use the Idea services at any cost.

Annexure B

GROUND OF APPEAL

(1) That since I have submitted the requisite documents through local idea mobile dealer thrice.

(2) That since receipt of documents have been acknowledged by SMS from 9814012347 stating that “Your concern regarding your account has been resolved. Thank you for being a valued member of the Idea family – 9814012347 05:09:26 date 14 May 2009”

(3) That in spite of repeated requests to the Customer care and the Nodal Officer, the issue could not be resolved.

PRAYER

I humbly prayed –

(1) That since I am committed to use the same mobile connection number, I have requested repeatedly and submissively since 27 May 2009.

(2) That I have been tortured and am suffering from mental agony for the last fortnight for not my fault.

(3) That service to my telephone mobile may be restored.

(4) That the responsibility should be fixed on the delinquent official (s) and impose the suitable penalty for harassing the customer.

(5) A compensation of Rs 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousands only) may please be paid to the undersigned for mental agony for the last fortnight.
