dishonour to my ECS payment

I have opened up a life insurance policy in Birla Sunlife and had opted for ECS payment for the monthly premium. For the last two year the payment was debited from my account smoothly, but in the last three months the it was seen that my account number has been changed by the Birla Sunlife with out my knowledge for which my ecs payment has been discarded by my bank and policy has been lapsed.
