DTDC – Courier Not Delivered

I had sent a package through DTDC on 11th Feb 2016 through their one day guaranteed service and the cover used to send the package was an insurance cover, meaning my package was insured and upon any damage or misplacement of the package I shall receive a complete refund. I have contacted them a thousand times for the refund but they keep on saying they are looking after the package and asked for some more time which I always provided to them. But its almost a month now and I am tired of asking them for the refund which they aren’t providing

The package was supposed to be a valentine’s gift from my friend to her fiance. That is why I had opted for a one day delivery. Now its been almost a month and I am really frustrated seeing their casual behavior. I want the complete refund and more money for the trouble they caused me so that they start taking their customers seriously. They never respond to me if I ask them something all they say is they’ll contact me soon. I always have to threaten them that I’ll be posting on fb to get a call from them who again in turn ask for more time. and the worst part is that I once called the DTDC outlet through which I sent the parcel to inquire about it. She asked me tracking detail to which I said that I have already given u the details before so many times and have also written it in your complaint register, to that her reply was(in an uninterested tone) –
