My friend Samarjit shipped a consignment:D18333087 from Bangalore (Franchisee Code: BF 830 BEML GATE), containing a official laptop and a charger to Pune, Chinchwad. However, on receiving the consignment on 25th Aug 2014 the I found that the package was filled with stones instead of the laptop and charger. A Complain number 774879 raised with DTDC. There seems to be no sense of urgency on the part of DTDC which is frustrating to say the least. Being a reputed company I expect some accountability from DTDC regarding the mishandling of the shipment.

Its my office laptop so recovery of asset value approx 70000/- will be levied on me if it is declared lost. Its also being a mental harassment for me to chase DTDC Bangalore and Pune to which they do not respond.

I need full compensation equivalent to laptop value and a written apology from DTDC.
