A parcel with imitation necklace, earrings and maang tikka was booked with GMS Worldwide Express Udaipur on October 16, 2014 by Maharaja Factory Udaipur, to be delivered to me – Ms. Mridula Iyengar at Mumbai. (Docket No. 104127879) The courier company has received the parcel in Mumbai and dispatched it with their delivery boy who claims to have given it to some unidentified person in my area. Dtdc They do not have a PoD to confirm that the parcel has been delivered. Despite chasing them constantly , they have failed to resolve my issue. On date, I have neither received my parcel nor any damages from the courier company. In fact, the branch in Udaipur has stopped answering my call. I have written to all the senior people in GMS including regional office in Jaipur and Zonal office in Delhi. But no one has responded.
I request you to please help me recover the above-mentioned Rs. 1560 and an additional Rs. 500 ad economic damage for the innumerable telephonic calls made. I can support the same with pone bills, if necessary. I also wish to file a separate complaint against the Sender of the parcel, M/s. Maharaja Factory, Udaipur, who have been avoiding to deal with my grievance. They are the ones who booked the parcel and should ideally be filing the complaint. However, since they have received full payment from my side, they are also avoiding this issue.
