ebay – shoes very poor quality and manufactured around four years back

I ordered Adidas make shoe online from ebay but got a very poor quality and manufactured around four years back. The soles of the shoes were not even pasted properly, shoe upper was also very hard and shoes are not fitting. The repeated complaints were made but to no avail. The guarantee claim was lodged on 25.04.2013, however, even after a period of four months and numerous mails, there has not been any resolution or refund by ebay of the price paid by me in advance through credit card. Pl see the following text of my mails to ebay to understand my plight on account of the following: i) Poor quality product-i.e. Adidas shoe manufactured around four years back, which is hard and does not fit. ii) Not in original packing and in fact with a letter from Seller – Fashiongali that since original box is not in good condition hence the alternative box. iii) Rude response from Seller when I called them to inform about the problems iv) no response from ebay to my numerous mails between 25th April till date v) advising me vide email dated 07.05.2013 to re-ship the item to the seller within three working days and sending proof of shipement to ebay. This is after 12 days of my claim and after numerous mails of mine. vi) Informing me vide their mail dated 09.05.2013 that they are closing the guarantee claim, as no action has been taken by me. They fail to notice that they have themselves given a period of three days (which itself is insufficient on their part) vide their mail dated 07.05.2013, i.e. till 10.05.2013 for sending the proof of shipment. —- Further as advised by ebay’s tele customer care executive, on 13.05.2013, I sent the pictures of shoes received by me to ebay thru email on 14.05.2013, which also showed the condition of the box in which the goods were received, the poor pasting of sole and upper in the right side of the right shoe, manufacturing date on the shoe inner sole as well as inside of the uppers as August 2009 & 08/09 for their perusal. —– I was informed vide ebay’s mail dated 22.05.2013 as under: Quote Although the process usually goes much faster, investigations like this can take more time. However, please be assured that we’ll make every effort to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. Unquote However, despite a period of four months has elapsed, the amount has still not been refunded, even when an old product, not in proper condition was delivered, the snaps and details of which have alreadt been sent to ebay, as advised by ebay’s Customer Care executive. This transaction is not only a matter of disrepute to the supplier and ebay as well, but has caused an immense stress to me. —– On friday, the 2nd August, I contacted ebay Customer Care where i was connected to Anvesha. She assured me that I will be receiving call from ebay and resolution of the issue within 24 hours. Regretted to state that nothing has yet happened.

It has been a terribly bitter experience of mine with eBay. I just want my money back which I paid in advance and in return of which I got such extremely lousy and immensely frustrating service.
