Fedex Express, India – poor service getting the refund of our payment

Dear Sir, I have booked a Consignment from Rohini, Delhi to Richmond Hill, Toronto with the Tracking No-899571110486 The package was picked up on 26/7/2013 at around 4 pm from Rohini, Delhi and the delivery was confirmed for Monday i.e 29/7/2013 at Richmond Hill Ontario, L4E 0L5, Canada. When we asked about the delivery we were told that it cannot > be delivered on Monday as the company has shortage of Manpower and hence it will be delivered by Tuesday evening, whereas the package was cleared by customs at 7:33AM Monday morning. As it was required very urgently therefore my brother’s wife had to take her small children along with her and went all the way after driving for two hours to collect the consignment from your Fedex office at 6895 Bramalea Road, Mississauga, Ontario. She had explained the situation to your staff there and they told her that the they will refund the charges paid by us and the shipper has to ask for a refund. She had already registered her complaint at Canada with your office with the complaint number: 0729033487. Since then I have been writing mails to Fedex and every time I am getting a reply that the consignment was delivered on time. I am disappointed with the irresponsible behavior from Fedex.

I request you to kindly help us in getting the refund of our payment against the charges of Rs. 2630/-that we had paid for delivering this packet. Looking forward to your help in this matter.
