have purchased a Nova Grooming Kit Model NHT-1025 (Red) from Flipkart. One of the batteries with the above mentioned product was good and working properly. But the extra battery provided with the product is not recharging, even before first use when the same was charged for ten hours as instructed, it did not recharge. As the product is within gurantee period, which is six months from the date of purchase, i.e., 18-12-2013. Replacement of the defective battery was requested to Flipkart. After reciving complain, personnel from Flipkart firstly denied warranty period of six months. Instead, they told that it was for one month only. When pursued with the fact that six months warranty is written under the product in their website itself, they said that as one month have elapsed, they cannot replace it and Nova App. should be directly contacted by me. When that was done, M/s Nova App. denied that the product was their’s. Informing Flipkart, the company is prescribing to visit addresses at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc for exchange. It seems that they are wasting time, so that once the warranty period is over, they would not have to exchange the defective product they delivered.
I want the battery to be exchanged with a working one.
