i ordered two xbox 360 games vide order number od21224013558 on the 22nd of December 2012. i was told by the customer care executive that i will receive the consignment by 27th of December. however on the 28th of December when i called them on having not received the consignment i was told that the order was not confirmed. i had paid by credit card and thus the explanation that my order was not confirmed is beyond logic. however the customer care executive agreed that it was their mistake and the product would be delivered by the 1st of January 2013.i told him that i needed to gift the games to my son on his birthday on the 31st and he said the flipkart people would try to deliver the consignment by 31st.however on the 1st evening on not receiving the product i called the executives again and to my amazement he asked me to wait for another 48 hours .now on the 3rd of January I have received a mail from them saying we have credited the amount in your flipkart account please shop for something else. I called them asking for a refund of the whole amount and they have mailed me saying my credit card will be credited with an amount of 1649 within 7 days whereas the total amount of order was for 4148.
i want a refund of the whole amount as soon as possible besides i want them to be punished atleast in some way so that they dont repeat this with any other customer and it acts as a precedent on them and they think twice before cheating anyone buying from their site.
