Ford Ecosport Diesel Ambient – Carg ford dealer cheating

I had booked Ford Ecosport Diesel Ambient model in the name of my wife – Mrs. Niyati Maulin Gandhi. The experience since then with the Ford Dealership is one of the worst experiences of my life. Let me make you understand the sequence of events: On 24th Sept, 2013 – i received mail from Cargo Ford – Vadodara regarding Ford Ecosport being allotted to me. I sent them immediate reply by email on the same day, called up the sales manager on 25th september over phone and visited the showroom on 26th September. During my visit – i told dealership that i do not want to purchase additional accessories package and 3rd and 4th year extended warranty package. To this, i was informed by the dealer that the same has to be purchased compulsorily or my allocation would be cancelled. As this happened, i got in touch with Ford India through mail and post telephonic conversation on 3rd October and getting assurance that i could buy the car without additional accessories and warranties – i made margin money payment of Rs. 2.00 lacs to the dealership. (Receipt of the same is attached). Post payment of margin money, when i inquired about delivery date – dealer did not confirmed any dates and said that it would take more than a month. That was very surprising to me since car was allotted to me on 24th September and still there were no confirmations regarding delivery date. Again i had to write to Ford India and after repeated emails / follow ups – dealer agreed to give me delivery on 13th October. All margin money payment and loan payment by the bank was completed on 12th October. 13th October was Dussera, a very auspicious day for purchase of car. I went to the showroom all set to get delivery of the car. I was at the showroom for 4 long and forgettable hours where in first dealer told me that if i want the car today – i had to purchase with engine guard, 16 inch alloy wheels and other accessories worth Rs. 55K approx. I was shocked to hear that since all payments were made and everything was finalized. Since i argued about it and was not agreeing to all their demands (though i agreed for couple of accessories since i wanted delivery on that date), they came up with other reason that they have not received payment from my lending bank. I double checked with the bank and in spite of it being a sunday and a Dussera holiday in gujarat – banker sent the payment advice to the dealer again. I also showed dealer copy of Delivery order that i was having but he was not ready to listen. After more than 4 hours ordeal at your showroom, i had to return home empty handed. I want to tell that the behavior of the General Manager – Mr. Tushar Ghai was very rude, aggressive and totally unacceptable. He held a grudge against me for not purchasing the accessories from him and also taking up the matter with ford India, hence i am being harassed and the car is not yet delivered to me in spite of more than 100% of the payment being made by me.

I want immediate delivery of the car at ex-showroom price, immediate refund of apprx 98,000 rupees additional Money lying with dealer for RTO, insurance and accessories which I will get it done myself now. Intersest for the period between money taken by dealer and car being delivered to me. Unconditional apology letter from the dealer.
