I had bought a inverter from ‘Sarvnistha Enterprises’ for my home on 30th August 2010 having warranty and service of 24 months. Product details given below, 1. Sukam Inverter- Falcon 2. Exide Inverter plus – 1350 3. Trolley I had looked on Sulekha.com for inverter dealers and then a person from this company called me from mobile-9999916551. Initially, this guy told me that ‘Sarvnistha Enterprises’ is a company with 2000 employees dealing in Inverter, UPS, stabilizers across NCR with branches in Noida, Gurgaon and Delhi. They had promised onsite warranty but never visited us again. When we started having problems with our inverter battery, we called them to check several times but they never visited us. We started feeling suspicious about them and asked for their address one day. They provided us a false address and there was no office there. After this they stopped picking our phones and sometimes used to switch off their phones. They only provided a Bill cash memo when I had purchased the inverter. They did not provide me the battery warranty card even though i insisted for the same and told me that they will be here for service whenever there is a problem. For the last 4 months i had been calling on their numbers, but they do not attend to my complaint. Initially they will take my complaint and would say they will come and see the problem. Later, when me and my wife realized that no one is attending, we decided to visit their office in gurgaon. They provided us office address in Sec-31, B block. When we reached sec-31, we didnt find their office. We kept calling on their number and they stopped picking the phones. Now if we call them, they switch off their phones. Later we went to exide to claim the warranty directly. Exide told us that this battery was manufactured in 2007 and has been sold by ‘Sarvnistha Enterprises’ in 2010 and hence no warranty can be claimed for this. I just need your help to nail these cheats and also want to make others aware of these cheats.
