Fraud transaction in SBI ATM and deny to take complaint

Dear Sir,

I have a savings account (A/C no.-301XXX67870) with SBI, IOCL Haldia Refinery campus, Haldia, Purba Medinipur Distt. (Bank code-07090), in West Bengal. I had an ATM withdrawn of Rs. 3000/- (three thousands) on 22-Nov-2017, from SBI ATM (Serial no S5NE007090621) IOC HALDIA REFINERY Campus, Purba Medinipur.

On 24-Nov-17, there is one transaction made by bank (not by me, hence unauthorized) with reference of previous transaction of dated 22-Nov-2017, narrating DEBIT SWOS 00000008706 22-NOV-17 6256 S5NE007090621 6220.

I have neither shared my debit card to others, nor given password to anyone.

One day later I met SBI Branch Manager and informed him regarding the transaction of 24-Nov-17, and shown him statement of my account for that date. I asked him the meaning SWOS. He did not receive my complaint and advised me to wait and watch for few days for credit the amount in A/C, saying sometimes it happened. Otherwise complain to toll free customer care no.

Accordingly I have tried to complain on 1800 425 3800 and 1800 11 2211, but customer care executive asked me to register phone banking system to check the A/C details followed by register complaint. Accordingly, I have registered phone banking but customer care executive denied to take such complaint narrating SWOS, and said they are forced to not taking such complaint. I have recorded the call. I could not understand the matter. If complain of any customer is registered by the choice of any service provider, then there is nothing left to complain or expectation to resolved the case, and may be assume the quality of service.

In between, I became very busy in my shutdown activites at my workplace, and I could not go bank further. But mean time I mailed (email id- ‘sbi.07090@sbi.co.in’) the details on 9-12-2107 to the Branch Manager, SBI,IOCL Haldia Refinery campus, Haldia, Purba Medinipur Distt. (Bank code-07090), in West Bengal but he did not respond. Again I had given reminder on 28-12-2017 regarding the complaint, as I was unable to go to bank physically due to vastness of my shutdown jobs. But branch manager did not respond. This is very unfortunate to all, if a Branch Manager, like a profound bank SBI, did not feel any requirement to respond to any customer in e-mail when we are proudly declared us as Digital India.

Anyhow, I tried to complaint online through SBI website. I got SMS from SBIPSG, that ‘Dear Sir/Ma’m, your complaint can’t be registered due to incorrect details. Kindly call 18004253800 to register your complaint’. There was nothing incorrect. Now I have understood the policy of SBI.

I have became frustrated and lost all trust from SBI, and blocked my debit card. Now I have planned to close the A/C.

But in the mean time I acknowledged the Complaint Box India. Therefore I request here to look into the matter as I lost faith from SBI and hope no way left there to register the complaint and get the trust.
