Samsung promoted its Laptops by offering that on purchasing a laptop, one can register on its Samsung e-store website (https://samsungindiaestore.com/smart-duo-offer) using serial number of laptop and by uploading the scanned copy of invoice and claim a discount of Rs. 7000/- on Samsung tab or a discount of Rs.4250/- on Samsung Mobile. I also purchased a Samsung laptop and registered myself on Samsung e store website for discount of Rs. 4250/- on Samsung Mobile by using serial number of laptop and uploading scanned copy of Invoice. According to offer, after registration of Samsung e store website, they had to send me a discount coupon within 15 days but I received a mail after one and half month from Samsung that my claim is rejected due to invalid invoice. I called Samsung India and asked “ What was the invalid on my invoice.” They did not provide me any reason, and denied to accept my claim. I think it is very easy to increase your sale by using these types of fraudulent offers. If Samsung really had the true intention of granting discount coupons, it could be done by providing immediate discounts on sale terminals of laptops. There was no need to enter into this type of cumbersome process.
