Fraudulent Withdrawal from SBI Account on ATM

On 25th December, 14 evening, I found in mini statement printed at SBI ATM Counter at Tegharia Main Road, Kolkata – 700 157 that a sum of Rupees One Lac Sixty Thousand (Rs. 1,60,000/-) had been withdrawn on 17th December, 14 in cash from our above mentioned account. Though we’ve not withdrawn such amount ever from that account. On 26th December we lodged written complaint in respective branch. We came to know from bank that the said amount had been withdrawn in withdrawal slip. Again a sum of Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 1500/-) had been withdrawn in cash from same account on 26th December, 14 when we were watching CCTV footage in Manager’s room though we had not withdrawn any amount on 26th December, 14. Kindly note that withdrawal slip was missing for that withdrawal (Rs. 1500/-) and both the withdrawals happened in same counter, using same user ID. We’ve lodged FIR in Baguiati Police Station on 28th December, 14 (FIR No. 796). We also lodged complaint to ‘Portal for Public Grievances’ vide complaint No. DPG/B/2015/80022 After this the SBI conducted their internal enquiry and a sum of Rupees One Lac Sixty Thousand (Rs. 160,000/-) and Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 1500/-), which was withdrawn in unauthorized manner had been deposited to our S/B account on 12th February, 2015 and 2nd January, 2015 respectively without any interest. But the said portal showing that my complaint has been closed (CASE CLOSED) though The case is still under police investigation and the person/s who was/were engaged in this crime is not identified. It’s status should be ‘attended’ rather than ‘CASE CLOSED’.

I demand . Fixed term interest of the amount withdrawn in unauthorised manner. 2. Proper identification of the person/s who was/were engaged in this crime, so that such incidents do not take place any further by the same person/s. 3. Proper monetary compensation – Rupees Five Lacs only (Rs. 5,00,000/-)
