I bought a fully automatic Godrej 6.5 Kg’s Washing Machine for 17300 INR about 8 months ago, however for the first few months it was working absolutely fine after which it started behaving in wired manner as when on spin mode it vibrates so badly as if there is an evil inside the machine. It literally jumps in such a bad way that a person has to stand to switch of the electric button. Because of which my parents are afraid to switch on the washing machine. I have removed a clip also of the machine while vibrating. I called up the service center a couple of times since it started shaking. Its been 3 months since I first called up those Godrej people for a resolution but all was in vein. The service center people responded politely to my complaint and sent total 4 technicians to my house, however the first tech person told me that there is nothing wrong with any of the parts, every thing is in a working condition and fine after examining the entire machine, but did not know what is wrong than he told me may be because of the level of the ground is not proper and moved the machine from one place to another and kept on a flat surface with the help of Level Bottle than too it was jumping, nonetheless he left saying that will report a complaint and send a senior Technician. than the Senior came and after examining he said that machine needs to be replaced with a new one because every thing is fine and doesn’t know the solution. He told me some one will call you from the Godrej Company Mumbai.
After speaking to the company person he sent another technician to my home after a month and wasted 1 hour of my time and told me that the drum springs needs to be replaced, he also left my house saying that a technician will come with the springs which needs to be replaced however the forth tech person who came to my house with the wrong springs and opened the entire washing machine splitting all the parts and wasted 2 hours of my time and when he started putting the springs he told me sir we are sorry this part which I brought from the service center was the wrong part however what we will do is get the right part and come and replace it as soon as possible which took another 15 days. Finally a supervisor called me from the company and told me that sir we will replace the washing machine, what I will do is raise a complaint with the company and a decision will be taken from the higher authorities because I don’t have the power to replace the machine. well after 8 days another supervisor called me saying that we will replace the springs and still if it does not work properly than well take a decision whether we can replace it or no. I told him that may be you guys have plenty of time to get one single complaint to resolve but I do not have time and as per majority of the technicians the machine was a faulty piece which needs to be replaced with a new one. I told the supervisor that it is pathetic that you guys being such a big name into the electronics world you cannot satisfy one single customer and it takes 3 months to resolve one query, I felt humiliated and groused talking to them as they were making fun of me. I told them I will raise this complaint with the consumer dispute and try and resolve this issue do not send any technician to my place because I am also from a technical back ground and I also feel all the parts are good and the machine is a faulty piece. also not to forget a senior engineer who was working for Godrej and now working for Vijay sales called me saying that there are defective machines in the market and the company is least bothered to resolve the complaint. Sir/ Ma’am I hope you understand the level of stress I have gone through and after waiting for such a long period and not getting a proper resolution may be you may understand how frustrated I am at this point of time. Please look into the matter and provide me with a resolution taking the company into consideration, I can send you the clip of the machine while shaking if required. Sir/ Ma’am I want the machine to replaced because I have had enough of them taking me lightly with laid back attitude.There are small kids loitering around at my home godforbid if some thing happens to them when the machine is shaking who will be held responsible. who will take charge of the damage? the company would call me after that and say sorry for the inconvenience caused.
