Goibibo.com – Money debited for failed transaction refund delay

I have done a booking with Goibibo.com for a hotel worth Rs.1716 on December 2nd 2014 and paid the money. As I want to change the room, I cancelled the booking on December 8th and they refunded my amount on 10th December. I tried to make another booking on December 8 morning for the same amount Rs.1716 through Goibibo.com website. I entered all my payment details and proceeded to pay but my transaction was rejected by the bank. So I tried to make the payment once again with the same debit card and proceeded to the payment gateway. At that time my account was debited with an amount of Rs.1716 but in the Goibibo.com confirmation page I got an error message. I thought that will be a technical error and waited for some time. I haven’t got any updates for the next 1 hour, So I again made the payment for the same amount and that time also my bank account was again debited with Rs.1716,Also the booking was confirmed. I thought that I will receive the refund of my failed booking within 2 days, but even after 8 days I haven’t received my money back. So I checked with my bank for more information and I came to know that my account was debited with Rs.1716 two times. So totally my account was debited with Rs.3432.In that Rs.1716 is for the booking I made but balance amount is for the failed booking. When I reported this to Goibibo.com with my bank statement, they said that they are not ready to give me the refund. But it is clearly written in my statement that the amount is debited to IBIBO WEB PVT LTD. But they says that they cannot refund. I am also attaching my bank passbook copy for your consideration.

Due to this issue,I lost an amount of Rs.1716 and Rs.250 to issue my bank statement. It also resulted in time loss.
