I am a HCL Consumer, purchased a “HCL ME” laptop on 10/11/11 for my daughter she is a 3rd year BTech student of Techno India Institute, Habra. Product code: AE1V2568-X, Serial no: 5111AE862587 from CAPITAL ELECTRONICS, P-161, VIP ROAD, KOLKATA-54, Tax invoice no: COM/5999/11 DT. 10/11/11 amount 31990/-, which is still within it’s warranty( I have all the necessary papers). Since last 1 year I am facing multiple issues and Capital electronics force me to go the HCL service center, which is SONALI INFONET, SARABAR APPARTMENT, CA-14, RAIL PUKUR ROAD, DESHBANDHU NAGAR, BAGUIHATI, KOLKATA-59, & the SONALI INFONET force me to go HCL CUSTOMER SERVICE to get my service order no (1st no: 8500818786, 2nd no: 8503390946), (which is very poor customer care system, no body is their to receive my call, at least 7 days needed for that process)
They are changing part by part (1st replaced TOSHIBA 500GB HDD, now MOTHER BOARD) that is effecting my work. I am a senior citizen, this process is very critical for me. Now they refused me to for replacement of parts & they (the HCL service center SONALI INFONET) are trying to force me to purchase a new one with extra cost. When I asked them for complete system replacement (which is still within it’s warranty) they informed “They will not provide any system replacement rather a part replace / repair”.
