HDFC Mutual Fund AMC Portal Pathetic – Is Milind Barve Lethargic CEO ?

I’m writing this Complaint after having given the HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd enough written complaints and finally looped in the Managing Director Mr. Milind Barve on March 12, 2020. However, their is no relief from the pain & grief investors willing to transact undergo on their portal.

HDFC AMC Ltd is commonly known as the HDFC Mutual Fund and run their Investment Services Portal at investor-web.hdfcfund.com/ If you have used the same, you will know what a pain it is to first Login and if Logged in, what a Pain it is to Transact.

OTP Validation Issue
Today I’ve been receiving the same OTP and when I enter the same to transact, it gave me an error “OTP Expired” You can see in the screenshot below, that I’ve entered the OTP much before the laps of time (15+ Seconds remaining).

However, in reality, a session has been established but due to poor validations and buggy front end interface it would not take me to the next screen. If you look at the date and time, you will see 12:20. Now I try to login again through the interfaces provided by them I get the error “Session Active” as shown in the screenshot below.

Conclusion: I seriously doubt if their are any IT processes in HDFC AMC Ltd. If so why so such a buggy portal is being given as an interface to thousands of customers to transact ? In an era of Digital India, HDFC AMC Ltd is headed by folks who can neither embrace IT nor they can fix it when pointed by a customer. This is so much in contrarian to the hDFC Bank Portal which just works like a charm with approximately 100x more load.

After having been their customer for over 14 years I decided to get out of all my investments from HDFC AMC as they appear to be a Lethargic lot of employees who can neither beat their competitors nor can give unparalleled customer service.
