dear sir/madam, i purchased a videocon mobile online from homeshop18.com. i received the product on 8th jan. after using i found that the product is defective. i register a complain through mail but they were not replying. again and again i called on given number. on 18th jan i received a mail which is- Dear Mr. Kumar, Dear Mr. Kumar, We regret to inform you that the product was delivered to you on Jan 8, 2014. Issue highlighted by you is not falling under the Policy of Refund/Replacement. We regret for the Inconvenience We request you to please call on Brand Customer Care no. or visit the service center submit your product in service centre and please update us the jobsheet no, service centre name contact persons phone no for follow-up with brand for repair. Warm regards, Customer Care HomeShop18. Team Homeshop18. but according to their policy this is illegal. his policy- However, if any manufacturing defect or damage is reported to us after 48 hours, we would need a DOA certificate/replacement certificate from the respective Brands authorized service centre to initiate the refund process. Without the DOA certificate/replacement certificate we will not be able to process the replacement or refund. i want a strict action against this company. according to his email, they do not have any idea regarding his return policy and because of these people i faced a lot of problems.
how they can say that this product will not replace while in their return policy there is a special rule about manufacturing defect. i want an legal action against company.
