Honda City Car – faulty automobile service centre

WE SENT OUR CAR (Honda Civic DL4CNC 2945) on 17/10/2012 FOR CLUTCH CHANGE. This was done for a cost of INR 17,419 (Bill 1223006614 dated 17/10/2012). Approximately 2 days later we sent it back as clutch was not working properly. Carnation claimed to have fixed this now but even after this repair problems continued. Problems with clutch continued and we sent car again on 16/11/2012 and were told that another new clutch (i.e. replaced under warranty) has been put and this time it will work. But the problem soon reappeared. We sent car to Carnation to fix our clutch problem at least 3-4 times in the next four months, once every month (some of these coincided with the servicing) including on 17/01/2013, 20/04/2013. On 24/05/2013 when we sent again our car for clutch repair we were informed by Carnation rep that it was not clutch but mounting that was causing problem. So we were made to spend another INR 10,264 on mounting. Immediately on receiving car we called Mr Sharma/ Mr Raman that changing the mounting has not made a difference and clutch still creating problems. WE WERE MADE TO PAY FOR MOUNTING WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED. However, Mr Raman told us to run the car for some time as he felt we did not let the clutch settle in. In mid July we have sent the car again because clutch was continuing to give problems. All of a sudden we were told that since the clutch IS OUT OF WARRANTY we should pay for a new clutch. We protested that we have complained about the clutch many times but Carnation rep told us that we will only change the clutch if we pay for it. We had no choice but to pick up the car and take it to Delight Honda, Mathura road and pay for a new clutch which cost another approximate INR 12,000 (22/07/2013).
