Honda – Damage to Vehicle Parts at the Service Satation

Reference Brand : Honda Mode : City IdTec, SV Yr of Manufacture : 01/2014 Reg #: TN 07 BW 9072 Dealer : Olympia Honda, Ambattur, Chennai Date of Purchase : 11/03/2014 Complaint : 1. Noise from the Pillion Side B Pillar since Day 1 of purchase, not corrected even after 5 months of purchase and 5 trips to the service Station 2. Damage to vehicle parts at the service Station – Reverse Parking Sensor Head unit damaged. Complaint Details: An audible rattling noise is being heard arising from the passenger side B-pillar of the car when in motion, especially at speeds around 35 to 65 Kmph. The defect has been shown to the dealer workshop numerous times for correction, however, the same has not been mended. For correction of the noise, the car was sent to the workshop on 01/08/2014. When the vehicle was being test driven prior to delivery, the head unit of the reverse parking sensor was found broken and hanging by the side of the door. The concerned staff from Olympia Honda coolly stated that the same would be replaced at the company’s cost and would be delivered back in the original condition the next day. However, the same has still not been remedied even after a month.

1. I would want that the broken sensor head be replaced with a new one immediately. 2. Noise from the door panel arising from the B-Pillar be corrected at the earliest
