I had booked a hotel summit nor long resorts and spa in Gangtok on 6 oct 13 for 7&8 oct from goibibo site which gave the location of the hotel at MG marg the maps accompanying also showed it at the same place as I wanted the hotel in that area only I selected and booked the hotel from their site. After reaching hotel I realised that the hotel was located way off from that place at rongey which was out of town and each time I wanted to go to town I had to hire a pvt taxi and shell out extra money. I had contacted the site and requested them that since they had provided incorrect info they should refund the second days hotel rent so that I could book else where as I desired however the request was turned down stating that the terms did not permit a refund.Even though the booking was a result of false information displayed by the site regarding the hotel ,hence they used fraud ant means to trick customers into booking with them.
I would want the site to ratify the false information,ratify their cancellation policy to cater for such mistakes, apologise and refund my money which they had charged for the booking and compensate me for ruining my holiday
