i went to this restaurant on 5 may 2015 with my wife when i got my bill i found that at service tax number area it was written applied where as this restaurant is more then 2 yrs old then y dont they have service tax number and if they have y dont they mention on bill and if they dont have service tax registration yet then how they can collect service tax

my bill amount was Rs 960 and i have paid service charge of 10% which comes to Rs 96 and they took service tax & cess of 4.94% which comes to Rs 52.17 they rounded off rs.17 and i have totally paid Rs 1108 to restaurant i just cant imagine how much money they must be making on the name of service tax
