Housefull Furnitures – False information not valid & not available courier tracking

Order no. 66383, HDC no. 9959/2015/431 I had paid Rs. 24,990 (via netbanking) and ordered “Flora Slider Bed” (Sofa-cum-Bed) on 8th March 2015 from Housefull Furnitures www.housefull.co.in , subject to condition for delivery on or before 20th/21st March (which was promised by Sales dept on phone), since my In-Laws were visiting on 21st March. On 15th March ordered few more items from Housefull, and asked status of the Sofa-bed delivery, and found there was no shipment sent and no tracking no. either, or any other notification of any delay. So I cancelled the order for “Flora Slider Bed” on 15th March on phone, and also sent email to Housefull Customer Service (cc@housefull.co.in) for cancellation on 16th March 2015, since it had not even been shipped and I had to make alternate arrangements. On 18th March Customer Service emailed it had been shipped and gave a DTDC tracking no. 100000885533, however on calling DTDC the customer service told this is not valid and not available in the courier tracking system. Inspite of cancellation on 15th March, the furniture was still shipped on 23rd March!! (3 days after promised delivery) and reached on 9th April, which was not accepted and returned back via DTDC. Furniture “Flora Slider Bed” had been returned and inspite of several calls and follow-up with customer service, was being told refund is being processed and awaiting management approval etc. and somehow even after 3 months since payment was made to Housefull, the refund has not been made till date.

Refund for Rs. 24,990 immediately, since furniture was returned back and still the money is kept by Housefull furniture (even after 3 months since the payment was made on 8th March 2015).
