I am travelling Mumbai inlocal since say 5 year, I want to complaint about people playing cards in local trains. I heard that there is a ruling and it was confirmed by state as well as railway police that it is like that. Playing of cards is not allowed in local. But it is rampant, in every local and it is nuisance at times or always. College going students say, oh they play cards in that compartment but still we travel. The way they talk and behave leaves much to be desired, let aside setting them as role models for the tomorrrows youth. The police say you tell us the local timings and the compartment and we will do something. But why they do not do the mapping of this nuisance and set example by punishing a few to teach lesson to the rest. I tried on the mobile help number of railway police, they say you must tell the station police station. If you call the appropriate police station the action will be taken. Can any thing be done to curb this menance?
