HOW Idea & Vodafone duped me for using their Internet Servies

Dear Sir, I am quite disturbed to inform YOU that mobile Operators are SWINDLING THEIR CUSTOMERS using ANDROID Phone for using their Internet Service on DATA USAGE BASIS THOUGH ONE MAY NOT BE INTERESTED TO USE THEIR INTERNET CONNECTION. I was charged Rs 802.17 plus Taxes for using Idea Internet Services though I have NOT asked for such services from IDEA. A number of e-mails were exchanged with a request to reverse the charges since I did not ask for the same. They declined to do. I have to PAY their Bill to avoid disconnection of services. In fact in mails and through SMS, they threatened to DISCONNECT my services if I do not pay their Bill. According to them they activated my Mobile Phone (9819080120) on a zero rental 2G service. This was done by them arbitrarily without my request or consent. More so, they have not even informed me about the same at any point of time. I was completely surprised to get their Bill at the end of the month. I have similar experience with Vodafone as well on the same Mobile (9819080120). They continued charging me for 2-3 months ranging from Rs 800 to Rs 1200. Here again a large number of correspondences by mail were entered but of no avail. Ultimately I changed from Vodafone to IDEA. But my ordeal continued with IDEA as well. It appears that the Mobile Operators lay a TRAP on consumers to use their Internet Services. It appears that if you are using an Android Phone, you can be easily duped by the Mobile Operators for using their Internet Services. When one Buys a Mobile Package (Local / STD / ISD all together or separately) for using as a Telphone and Massaging Instrument, he is just hooked to use their Internet Services as well. When you buy a Mobile Package, you will be flooded with Massages from the Company to use their Internet Services. You have 2 Options, ? you either accepts their Internet Packages which always may not SUIT YOU or ? Expose your Mobile to use their Internet and allow them to CHARGE YOU on DATA Usage because your Mobile may be exposed to a mode called “data enabled” either by default or by mistake It is interesting to point out here that if you have Internet Facility in your home in Wi-fi mode and your Mobile is on “data enabled” mode, your Mobile can be directly connected to your home Internet service but the moment you go out of your home and do not “Off” the “data enabled” mode, your Mobile will be exposed to Mobile Operator’s Internet Network and your Account will start mounting and at the end of the Month, you find a hefty Mobile Bill for using the Mobile Operators Internet Services. That means, every time you go out of your home you have to compulsorily change to switch Off the “data enabled” status in your Mobile.

Refund the Amount paid to them which they have charged which I had to Pay to avoid disconnection.
