HP Care Center – Laptop Hard Disk Crashed

Just 2 weeks back I have gone to a HP service center as my laptop hard disk was completely crashed. I have told them to put a new hard disk. First person there said cost is 4200. I told them that I have called customer care, they people said that for 500 GB 3000 is the cost and rest are installation charges. After that that person said I will call my manager, I also told them that some 3-4 months back I came here and one of your person only said that total cost will be around 3700 for hard disk and casing. I was busy with work, so was unable to go at that time. Now that manager comes and these people said that rates are increased, so give 4200 for hard disk and casing. I only wants the hard disk to be inserted because window installation that I know how to do. I was unable to do anything because specially I took leave on that day to get the laptop fixed. So I have given them the laptop and said I will collect it within some time as I am going out side for lunch. Those people said ok its only 5-10 minutes work we will do that and then we will give you a call. I was roaming around there for 3-4 hours but I didn’t get any call and then I went there. Those people have not touched my laptop at all and it was lying down there on the desk. I aksed manager that what is this he said sorry mam it will take 5-10 minutes. Then one technician opened the laptop and try inserting the new hard disk but he don’t know properly and he inserted the opposite hard disk. Then he asked manager, he guided him. After that they some how fixed the hard disk and that screw was coming up. I told that person that it is coming up but he was like its nothing mam. I told him to cheek that every thing is working properly because i don’t have time so I will not be able to come again. He said yes its working. I also did a quick check because extensive check that takes a lot of time. After that I tried installing the windows on laptop after next week because I was busy with work. The laptop was not showing boot menu options at all and a continuous beep sound was coming. I clearly remember that from morning I called their customer care 5 times but no one helped at all. They said contact chat support. Somehow I contacted chat supported, They did nothing expect advising me to visit service center again. I was not in the mods to go to that service center because it was too far. I called customer care and told them whole story but the representative said MAM I CAN’T BE ON LINE, I HAVE TO HANDLE OTHER COSTUMERS. This was really bad. There was no other option except to visit that service center. I went to that service center, that technician was unable to detect the issue. He said there is some issue with the key board and then he took my laptop some where outside. Then they said leave the laptop here. I said I can not, just fix it. They were like there is no technician available so he will be available tomorrow I some how agreed

Take strict action against that manager. Accurate hard disk rate to be known and remaining to be refunded. Strict action against that dumb customer care people. Laptop to be fixed free of cost. Laptop is not working at all. Scratches on hard disk casing. wasted my time and money
