I had bought an HTC Desire-501 smart phone having IMEI No. -357862050779596 @ Rs. 15,700 on 13 March2014 from SPICE HOT-SPOT,sector-10,Dwarka(contact no-9717794257), New Delhi. The phone has got dead on 23 March 2014 due to manufacturing defect then I contacted the above said retail store. They said go to HTC service center. I went to HTC service center on 24 march-2014, where they have issued me a DOA(dead on arrival) which indicates that the mobile is having manufacturing defect. After issuing letter they suggested me to contact the dealer and handover that dead phone and get the new phone as a replacement. Instantly I had made a call to the dealer and told him about DOA letter then the dealer told me that that phone is right now not available and it will be available on 26 March 2014(after two days). So I went to the dealer on 26 March 2014. But again they said phone is out of stock and you have to wait. From their talking behaviour it is clear that they are making mesh of it. Then I again contacted customer care executive of HTC on 27 March 2014. They asked the detail which I provided them and they promised me that the problem will be resolved within 48 hours and I will get a call from their side. But I did not get any call from their side after 48 hrs. I again called them and they did not talk properly. I again called them on 31 March 2014. They were not talking properly again then I said them that I am going to register an FIR and will move to the Consumer Court then they again promised me that your problem will be solved in next 48 hours definitely and generated a complain no: 14IND130000282. But again same things happened with me and my problem is still present. In the mid time I had also registered a complain over the mail. Mail complain no is : 14INCW13ENA000736. I have sent a reminder mail also. Both HTC customer care and the dealer are creating a mesh. Then I have demanded my money to be returned but now they are telling that returning money is not our company’s policy. Till date neither I have got my phone nor my money returned back. Now I got mentally exhausted and feeling cheated by parties. Therefore I want my money back as well as some additional mental harassment compassion and interest component of my money deposited for that duration.
