Sir,I have purchased Hyundai I 10 sports car from SAS automobiles pvt ltd kanpur road Lucknow which was delivered to me on 29/09/2014.it was told to me by their representative to submit the address and id proof and RTO papers till 4/10/2014. I have submitted the papers before due date ie on 3/10/2014. At that time it was told to me to collect the RC on 10.10.2014.when I contacted the showroom on 11/10/2014 they told me that due to late submission of papers penalty of ?3700 has accrued which I have to pay to take the RC. when I told them that I have submitted the papers on time bt the delay has occurred on their part they are saying that they are Not responsible for that and I have to bear the penalty which had accrued.however I m not responsible as I have submitted the papers before the due date they have given to me. And now from last one month they are just making excuse on their part and are not ggiving my RC papers.kindly help me in this regard.thanks
