Policy Number- 3001/53897540/05/0000, Car GJ-10-AC-4051,Mahindra Renault Logan 1.4 GLX Background of the complaint Three months ago, my car stopped suddenly near my residence and I thought that something critical & big have occured, I immediately informed to my car insurance company ICICI Lombard and they told that Surveyor will come within 3 days for tthe inspection of the vehicle. For the sake of safety I parked my car in Relaince autozone which is near my residence. I informed the ICICI Lombard insurance company. Not any surveor came for inspection. After Three days I asked the reliance autozone to go for repair and after the repair we came to know the problem was not critical and only the pulley from the alternator got detached.The total cost involved was only Rs 2800/-.Still not assitance or help from the ICICI Lombard. There was frequent sms and telephone call regarding the renewal of my car policy is due on 18th april 2014. On checking I found that the premium got increased from Rs 5748 to Rs 10217.On inquiring the insurance company told , ” your vehical met accident and No claim bonus in zero now and hence premium is increased”. Further the insurance company told the moment you ring here for any breakdown , accident or any type of incident they all are registered under accident case and immediately No claim bonus reduces to zero. Sir I understand how breakdown and normal wear & tear can be counted in accident. Sir I got hopeless and insurance company persons are giving phone numbers of other persons of thier group but nobody is giving solution and now they started talking about rules and acts. Sir the law is supreme for me and now I am bound to pay more premium for my car insurance from original amount of Rs 5748 to Rs 10217.

1. Bring the premium to my original value Rs 5748/- which expires on 18th April. 2. Proper service and response from the insurance company.
