Idea – Unauthorized Service Activation – Review

This case no.91761.4.2014 is not resolved, the refund amount is less (Rs.134)compared to what I’ve to get refund. I’ve been charged high billing in month of May2014 and June 2014 due to exceeding 300MB data because of negligence from Idea Customer support team. I’ve have two Idea mobile numbers 9673332564 (used by me currently with 3G data plan of 1 GB activated) and 9673332501 both registered on my name, I had called on 9th May 2014 to get tariff details on internet data plan, after getting the details from the agent I had specifically informed the agent not to activate any services and hanged the call. After few moments I had received SMS stating that my Rs. 30/- SMS pack was added to my plan and 3G data plan have been modified from 1 GB to 300MB plan, since then I’ve called several times to resolve the issue and I’ve spoken to couple of escalation members to get the resolve/refund because of which I’ve also been charged high on my billings during roaming. Every time I get commitment of getting call back from Mohammad Siddhu as he was not available in office, as the escalation agent told that he would not be able to do anything, which was again told to me by Avinash Kankale and asked to wait for 24-48 hrs for resolution. 1. The Idea Customer Support activated the service without my authorization not even verified my security details. This is serious offence and unethical business practice. 2. The call is not resolved till today even following up 3-4 times now.
