I have IFB Dishwasher purchased in 2009. It is always maintained by IFB service Center. My customer Id is 20978 On 19-09-2011, I had paid for two years Annual Maintenance Contract / Extended Warranty [before original contract had not expired ] Warranty Contract Period is 15-11-2011 to 14-112-13 During this period There were three major breakdowns. (1) 11 Sep 2012 – Complaint Number 10091349 (2) 02 Aug 2013 – Complaint Number 11223748 (3) 03 Oct 2013 – Complaint Number 1159090 Duration for Solving Problems (1)11 Sep – 10 days [ 20-09-2012 ] (2)02 Aug – 12 days [ 13-08-2013 ] (3)03 Oct more than 13 days … not yet solved. Every time the its delayed because non availability of parts For 11 Sept 2012, second hand / old , repaired part was used by the service center, which gave problem in Aug 2013 [ I had protested for old part- but I was told that you can not decide, which material to be used, till IFB takes responsibility of AMC ) This time I am told that one small PCB has issues, but, I doubt it. Its some other issue as its difficult to digest that such pcb is not available in its Goa factory/stores.
compensation: I want Rupees one thousand, for every day delay [ beyond 3 days] for every occasion We had to repeatedly contact, (cervice centers and IFB call center or Managers ) for repairing and explaining each time, the entire episode to the concerned person was an harassment and torture. For such mental & physical harassment and torturing, to me and my wife, we want Rupees One lakh as compensation. This piece is to be replaced with brand new piece or we want Rupees 30 thousand buy new piece ( and to scrap this ). Please note that … Available other brands models are costing more than Rs 30 thousands but we are not demanding that.
