I had one term deposit no.STD A/C-30573756357 at SBI, Bikash Bhawan GOC with my son Saptak Mohanta. In fact he is the first holder of the term deposit. The same matured on 22.04.14. I went to the Bank on 23.04.14 and submitted the receipt duly signed with the instruction to transfer the matured amount to our joint savings account in the same branch 11334411716.

On the same day someone called me from the Bank to inform me that the same cannot be transferred to our savings account since it is kept attached by SBI credit card!!! I informed him that neither me nor my son have any SBI credit card! But he informed his inability to help in the matter and asked me to take back the receipt and contact SBI credit card office at Minto Park. Feeling extremely annoyed and angry I went to that office on 26.04.14 but failed to get any responsible person there who can be of any help to me in this regard.
I again came back to SBI Bikash Bhawan Branch and lodged a written complaint to know why our maturity amount was not transferred to our savings account in writing. They just forwarded me a mail in which I can find that they have requested someone to release the lien of the term deposit. I again sent them a mail asking for reply to my mail dated 26.04.14. They have not responded till date.
I feel highly frustrated and duped. I want redressal of this harrassment from the Bank. Hence lodging this complaint with you.
I am also forwarding all the mails which I have sent to Bank and Credit card company till date.
