I booked a gas cylinder (refill) online, through www.indane.co.in, on 2 April, 2014. I received a receipt through email which I am attaching to this complaint. My consumer no. is 26536. I am yet to receive the booked cylinder. Consequently, I registered a complaint at the indane helpline 18002333555 on 23rd April and received 1-confirmation of my booking, 2-information that distributor is responsible for the registration of my landline number in the booking system and 3-information that the booked cylinder will be delivered by 29th of April. I have inquired at the distributor involved (NILSIKHA, 139,D.D. MANDAL GHAT ROAD DAKHINESWAR, KOLKATA 700076) whereupon they denied the existence of my booking. I also asked that my landline number – 25443375 – be registered for the purpose of booking refills and received a refusal. I requested they verify my booking by calling 18002333555 and got a refusal.
