I had ordered a Necklace set during the GOSF festival on 10th December, 2015 vis order number 14039798 in infibeam.com. The delivery got delayed and finally reached to me around on 31st December, 2014. The product came as damaged so I contacted infibeam customer care and hence they arranged a return receipt. For that, I have to arrange 2 print outs and 1 envelope which cost me again 20 rupees for the return over the price of the product. After that the product reached warehouse and they almost forgot about my product. I made several follow ups, but they just told me that they need time and time.Several times I made complaint regarding their product quality and delay, but no response and care. Finally, on Jan 17th they shipped the product and it again came as the first time defective product only. So again I made a complaint and they again made a return receipt. So, again I have to spend 20 rupees for my product although the mistake on Infibeam’s part. Being a customer, why will I pay 20+20=40 rupees for a product of rupees of 299 for a fault on infibeam’s part ?
Infibeamhas failed to deliver my product twice properly. No control over the product quality is present and also the customer service executives have no information regarding the delay of my product. Already i incurred me 20 rupees for their mistake, and again it will cost me 20 rupees if I go by their way. They told me to put the printouts of return receipt, return address in an envelope along with the product, so it is effecting me economically. Also, second time how can they send the same damaged product which they sent me during the first time only. I have already mentioned them that I am escalating this concern to consumer court so that they can look into this issue.
I just want to look into the matter for the following points: 1. Why there is no product quality check during the shipment of the product specially when the product is a first time defective product ? 2. Why there is no time guideline for the delivery ? It seems like order the product and forget everything. 3. Why being a customer, I have to make follow up for my product delivery delay ? 4. The last and most important, why will I be arranging the envelope, return receipt and return address printouts for returning the product, although its fault on infibeam’s part to deliver the product to me correctly twice. I can’t bear 20+20=40 rupees for some mistake from vendor and for which I am suffering now. Moreover, I want my 299 and also 20 rupees back from infibeam and make a complete arrangement for there product return on their part.
